Stretch Mark & Scar Revision Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare is vital for optimal healing and the best possible results. Please read and follow the guidelines below closely.

1. Recommended Aftercare Products

• Light Scars & Light Stretch Marks: Use Nue Regen exclusively.

• Dark Scars & Dark Stretch Marks: Use Nue Bright exclusively.

⚠ If Nue Regen or Nue Bright is not available, do not apply any other product

—unauthorized ingredients may cause burning or adverse reactions.

2. What to Do ✔

1. Keep the area dry

◦ Do not wash or wet the treated area for the first 24 hours.

2. Clean gently after 24 hours

◦ Once 24 hours have passed, wash with a mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water.

◦ Pat dry with a clean towel; do not rub.

3. Apply your designated Nue aftercare

◦ Morning and night until fully healed, use only Nue Regen (light scars/stretch marks) or Nue Bright (dark scars/stretch marks).

4. Stay hydrated

◦ Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support skin recovery.

5. Maintain moisture

◦ If additional hydration is needed, reapply your Nue product.

◦ Do not substitute with any other moisturizer.

6. Sun protection (post-healing)

◦ When to start: Begin 7 days after your procedure, or once the treated skin is fully healed and any scabs have fallen off.

◦ What to use: Apply only Nue Conceal SPF 50+, formulated with scar-healing, safe ingredients.

◦ What to avoid: Do not use any other SPF product, as they may contain unsafe ingredients that could irritate or damage the treated skin.

3. What to Avoid ✖

• Touching or picking at the treated area.

• Any other aftercare products besides your assigned Nue formula.

• Swimming, saunas, or excessive sweating for at least 7 days.

• Direct sun exposure or tanning for 30 days or until any hyperpigmentation resolves.

• Tight clothing over the treated area—friction delays healing.

4. Typical Healing Process

• 0–24 hours: Mild swelling and redness appear; swelling subsides by 24 hours.

• 36 hours onward: Area may darken—this is normal. Gradual lightening occurs over 2 to 6 weeks.

• Some clients may heal faster, with minimal darkening, within a few days.

• Clients with darker skin tones may take longer to return to their natural shade. If the treated area remains darker than your surrounding skin after 6 weeks, continue:

1. Your designated Nue aftercare twice daily.

2. Strict sun protection with Nue Conceal SPF 50+ (even indoors near windows).

3. Gentle cleansing and moisturizing as outlined above.

• Do not panic, extended darkening simply means your skin needs more time. Please give it a little more time. It will even out.

5. Rare Symptoms & When to Seek Help

• Blistering or mild fever can occur in rare cases.

• If redness/swelling persists beyond 5–7 days, stop all aftercare products and allow the skin to recover naturally.

• If symptoms worsen or do not improve, please consult a physician promptly.
